The MSC Seafood Futures Forum will take place on 24 April 2024 at 9am CEST, live from Seafood Expo Global in Barcelona. All our stakeholders are invited to attend, either in person or online.

Our 2024 forum

Planet, price and diet: How is seafood stacking up?

Consumers are more conscious than ever about how their food choices impact the planet. But they are also weighing environmental concerns against price, health, and quality. So is the consumer’s appetite for sustainably sourced seafood holding up? How do millennials and GenZ view eating seafood, in comparison to other protein sources? And how do these developments vary by region?

This year’s Seafood Futures Forum will reveal new insights on these topics, fresh from the world’s largest survey of seafood consumers. Conducted by GlobeScan research agency on behalf of the MSC in February and March 2024, the findings will be based on interviews with 25,000 consumers in 23 markets across the world.
