What is the role of the financial intermediaries when building a sustainable future?
Workshop in Dutch and French
Everyone is talking about sustainability nowadays. The reason is obvious and does not need to be explained further.
But to guarantee a more sustainable future without endangering our social context, society must hold companies accountable. In other words, society needs to involve the companies in this process.
The next question then immediately arises as to whether or not the financial intermediaries, that play a crucial role within our economic model, already play a role here. In other words, are the financial intermediaries already taking responsibility and are they taking sustainability issues already into account in their decision processes. And if so, how?
That is the discussion we want to have.
