EPEA, Environmental Protection Encouragement Agency, werd in 1987 in Hamburg opgericht door Michael Braungart. Dit ontwerp- en onderzoeksbureau ontwikkelt wereldwijd intelligente productsystemen volgens het Cradle to Cradle concept.
